ARE YOU READY TO “SMILE AND GO DIGITAL”?
Are you interested in learning something about digital cameras? Do you have one but it sits in its box unused because no one has shown you how to operate it? Do you have a digital camera and have taken pictures, but just don’t know how to get them out of the camera and printed or transferred to your computer? If this sounds like you, them come and sign up for our new Digital Camera Class. During our four week session we will explore the following:
Week# 1 We will begin by discussing what a digital camera has to offer, how to decide which type works for you and what support programs and accessories you may want when you’re ready to “GO DIGITAL” If you need help in making a purchase, we’ll assist you in deciding just what camera is the right one for you. Week# 2 Now that you have been successful in taking some pictures with your “new’ digital camera, we will discuss the various methods available to getting your pictures out of your camera and onto your computer. Next, we will talk about viewing the pictures you’ve taken and
giving each picture a “name” Week# 3 We will talk about the process of getting prints made of your best photographs. We will discuss the pro’s and con’s of printing your own pictures using your own printer vs. using companies that claim they can do the job for you and give your better quality prints for less money. We’ll discuss firms like Wal-Mart, CVS, and Ritz Camera etc. or using on-line firms like Kodak Gallery, Snapfish and Shutterfly. Week# 4 Today we will wrap up our 4-week class by discussing ways you can share your pictures with family and friends. Sharing pictures by
e-mail may be fine if you are sending only one or two pictures, but we don’t think it’s a good idea to try sending more. WHY? Come join us and find out why, and hear about other ways available to you to sharing as many pictures as you want.
