Parks & Grounds Division

The Parks and Grounds Division has the responsibility of maintaining all public parks, sports fields, playgrounds, school grounds, and public building grounds owned by the Town of Wilmington.  This includes over 60 acres of area, 40 acres of which are playing fields.  The Division utilizes IPM management strategies for the responsible care of Wilmington's grounds, and prides itself in providing some of the best playing facilities in the area to Wilmington's youth and recreational groups.
