Annual Town Election

The following documents are hereby posted in accordance with Section 1(b) of Chapter 45 of the Acts of 2020:

At their meeting of April 27, 2020, the Board of Selectmen voted to reschedule the Annual Town Election to Saturday, June 20, 2020.  Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  During this unprecedented time, the Town of Wilmington would like to encourage residents to vote early by mail or to vote absentee.  Application to vote early may be obtained here and the application to vote by absentee may be obtained here.

The Town Clerk's Office is seeking election staff for the Town Election, potential working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Workers will not be asked to work all day.

Candidates should not be within the list of COVID-19 vulnerable categories. Thus they should be under the age of 65 with no underlying medial conditions.  Election workers must be registered voters, however state law does allow for a certain number of 16 and 17 year old workers for each precinct.  These are paid positions.

Anyone interested in working should contact Town Clerk Christine Touma-Conway by email at ctouma-conway@wilmingtonma.gov or call the Town Clerk's office at 978-658-2030.  Messages left will be answered promptly.
