The Town of Wilmington's Control Plan can be found here along with this PowerPoint Assistant Town Manager/HR Director Kerry Colburn-Dion sent to employees as part of the following communication:

Good morning,

Per Governor Baker’s Phase One Reopening Plan, employees are able to report to their work location per their department’s schedule. As employees return to more standard hours and schedules, the Town of Wilmington is taking the following steps to comply with state mandatory safety standards for workplaces:

  • Employees are required to wear face coverings.
  • Employees are required to review the information and video on the following link regarding the proper use of face coverings:

  • Remain at least six feet apart from others, both inside and outside. Shifts will be staggered for larger departments, on an as needed basis, to allow for social distancing. Employees are encouraged to eat their lunch and take their breaks outside.
  • Wash your hands frequently and properly; use hand sanitizer of at least 60% alcohol when you are unable to wash your hands.
  • Employees are required to review the information and video on the following link regarding handwashing:

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Use a tissue or your inner elbow, not your hands. Throw the tissue away after use and wash your hands.
  • Employees are required to review the following video regarding stopping the spread of germs:

  • Clean your workspace regularly, at minimum when you arrive at work and when you leave for the day, using household cleaning spray or wipes. Avoid sharing the use of office materials and equipment. If you must use shared items, disinfect common surfaces such as copy machines before and after use. Ongoing sanitation of high-touch areas will occur in buildings that are in use by employees.
  • Employees are required to review the attached Power Point Covid-19 Training – please open attachment at the top of the page.
  • Self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms.
  • Employees are required to review the following video with instructions regarding symptoms to monitor:

  • Stay at home if you are sick and call your doctor if you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms
