2021 Town Clean-up Day

2021 Town Clean-up Day
Saturday, October 2nd - 10:00am

The Wilmington Conservation Commission invites residents of all ages to share a few hours of their time and participate in the Annual Town Clean-up Day on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, beginning at 10:00 am, rain or shine. The Conservation Commission is seeking volunteers and leaders to help beautify Wilmington’s parks and conservation lands by removing litter and debris. This year for Town Cleanup Day we’re targeting cleanup efforts at 12 different locations as shown on the map below. Trail maps for many of the locations can be found here. Help beautify our town by contacting us to be a volunteer, a volunteer team leader, or simply show up to a site of your choice at 10:00 am. Anyone who would like to be a team leader should contact us as soon as possible for more information regarding supplies that can be be picked up prior to October 2nd in the Planning & Conservation Department (Room 6) at Town Hall. Please dress appropriately for woods and wetlands and remember to bring sunscreen and insect repellant. Please watch out for poison ivy and other hazards. We look forward to seeing you out there!
