Tree Division
The Tree Division is responsible for the planting, pruning, and removal of public shade trees and trees on public property. Tree Insect and disease monitoring, as well as damage and health assessment are also important responsibilities of this division. In addition to aesthetics, trees offer multiple benefits to Towns including environmental, economical, social, and health related benefits. In one year, a mature tree can remove as much carbon dioxide as an automobile that drives 26,000 miles generates!
