Shady Lane Phase 2 Sidewalk Work

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

- SHADY LANE PHASE 2 SIDEWALK PROJECT -

BIRCHWOOD ROAD TO WHITEFIELD TERRACE

Please be advised that the Wilmington Department of Public Works completed Phase 2 of the Shady Lane Sidewalk Construction Project from Birchwood Road to Whitefield Terrace in September 2022. 

The project consisted of drainage system upgrades, including a replacement of a culvert under Shady Lane, as well as the construction of sidewalks on the south side of Shady Lane.

Phase 3 of the project from Whitefield Terrace to Middlesex Ave Route 62 is currently in design stages and updates will be forthcoming.
