Update: Water Main Break in Winchester
Repair has been completed and the water pipeline has been returned to service. Wilmington is back to normal operations.
May 3, 2019:
Please be advised that the MWRA had a water main break in Winchester today, May 3, 2019.
Wilmington uses MWRA drinking water to supplement the water that is produced by its own groundwater wells. Since Wilmington will not be using MWRA water until the repair work is completed, residents may potentially experience lower than normal water pressure.
