Wilmington Economic Development Committee Launches 2026 Community Economic Survey

The Wilmington Economic Development Committee (WEDC) is pleased to announce the launch of its 2026 Community Economic Survey and is inviting residents, business owners, and individuals who work in Wilmington to participate.

The survey is designed to gather valuable feedback on the local economy, business environment, and community needs. Since the Committee’s last survey was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, this effort aims to better understand how behaviors, preferences, and economic activity have evolved in the years since. The WEDC is particularly interested in learning how residents' and business owners’ needs and expectations may have changed, and what they would like to see in Wilmington’s economic landscape over the long term.

The survey is brief, anonymous, and takes approximately five minutes to complete. It is available online at:

The link is also available on the Town’s website on the Economic Development Committee page.

Established in June 2019, the WEDC continues to focus on enhancing Wilmington’s economic vitality by identifying key opportunities, supporting local businesses, and encouraging thoughtful, community-driven development. Input from this survey will play an important role in shaping future strategies and ensuring that Wilmington remains a vibrant place to live, work, and do business.

All residents and those who work in Wilmington are encouraged to participate and share their perspectives.

The Wilmington Economic Development Committee thanks the community in advance for its time and valuable feedback.
