Community Cleanup

Welcome!

Anyone interested in participating in future events should sign up here. 

What's the point? Back in 2021, our Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) was updated. This plan included a chart of goals and objectives for all Open Space needs in Wilmington. One objective was to "focus on high quality maintenance of existing open spaces." To meet this objective, an action item was identified; to offer more frequent and focused cleanup days. Read more about the OSRP here (page 84 has the specific chart).
