Senior Property Tax Work Program

This program enables elders 60 years and older, with low to moderate income the opportunity to work off a portion of their property tax by working part-time for the Town. These positions can be found in the various school and municipal departments.

Eligible candidates will meet the following qualifications:

• 60 years of age or older
• Homeowner or current spouse
• Resident of Wilmington
• Occupy the property for which taxes are paid
• Limited financial resources
• Application / Selection Process
• Qualified applicants will be interviewed by Department Head upon referral.
