Ban on Plastic Bags Effective May 5, 2019

As a result of the adoption of Article 48 at the 2018 Annual Town Meeting, the By-laws of the Inhabitants of the Town of Wilmington, Revised has been changed to include a ban on plastic bags. This by-law bans the use of disposable, single use plastic bags at retail establishments, food establishments, grocery stores and other establishments at which goods are purchased.
