Sean Collier Day - Wednesday January 3rd

Good morning residents and community members,

Happy New Year! The Town of Wilmington would like to cordially invite the public to join us for a brief ceremony, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3rd at Rotary Park to remember Sean Collier. Each year, officials lay a wreath at Sean's tree and say a few words. Sean, a Wilmington native and MIT officer, tragically lost his life in the line of duty during the aftermath of the Marathon Bombing in 2013. Wilmington officials remember Sean on his birthday, January 3rd or what is now known as "Sean Collier Day" in Wilmington, Massachusetts. Thank you for your sacrifice, Sean.
