Health Department Public Hearing Notice - October 19, 2021 5:45 PM

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held in Town Hall, Room 9, 121 Glen Road, Wilmington MA 01887 on October 19, 2021, at 5:45 p.m. to review an addition to the Board of Health Regulations for the following sections:

Section 8 Smoking and tobacco products

Definition: Component part:  Any element of a tobacco product, including but not limited to, the tobacco, filter, and paper.

8.24   Sale of Flavored Tobacco Products Prohibited:  No person shall sell or distribute or cause to be sold or distributed any flavored tobacco product, flavored nicotine delivery product or otherwise, except in retail tobacco stores.  For this regulation, flavored rolling papers, as defined, are “tobacco product flavor enhancers” 

Section  5  Subsurface Sewage Disposal Systems

5.4.2       The minimum size of any GEO Mat Leaching system shall be a minimum of 600 square feet.
